Senior Planning Manager

Location: Stanstead

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Planning Manager to become a key member of a well-established Planning & Design team. This role involves working closely with the Director of Planning, taking responsibility for your own projects while providing support and guidance to other team members. You will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of planning activities and the successful delivery of high-quality developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage planning projects, ensuring alignment with the site values within the Project Cost Plans and contributing to both departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Provide strategic planning advice and guidance to team members, including mentorship to junior planners and planning secretaries.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the planning process, ensuring high standards of delivery and project success.
  • Stay informed on current and emerging planning legislation and regulations that impact development potential for both current and future sites.

What You'll Need:

  • Significant experience in planning, ideally in a senior role, with the ability to manage complex planning projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proactive approach to guiding and supporting team members.
  • A deep understanding of planning processes, legislation, and the regulatory environment.
