The Company:

The client, a family-run business with over 60 years of experience, is looking for an ambitious Senior Planning Manager to join the Planning team in their Stansted office. They work on projects throughout the UK, restoring the conservation of historic and listed buildings. and cover residential, commercial, planning and construction, renewable energy, rural consultancy, infrastructure and many more sectors.

This role is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable experience from sector-leading professionals and kick-start their career. The successful candidate will ideally have UK based work experience.

The Position as an Senior Planning Manager:

As a Senior Planning Manager, you will play a key role within the Planning & Design team, collaborating closely with the Director to lead your own projects while providing guidance to team members. Your focus will be on enhancing the quality and effectiveness of planning activities, ensuring alignment with project cost plans and departmental objectives. Additionally, you will maintain an in-depth understanding of current and evolving planning legislation, supporting the development potential of current and future sites.

Essential Criteria as a Senior Planning Manager:

  • Degree in Planning degree or a related field.
  • Proven experience ina similar planning role with proven success.
  • Strong communicating skills.
  • To be finisncially aware (cost management)
