Day-to-day of the role:

  • Coordinate the entire booking process from start to finish with clients, shipping lines, and suppliers.
  • Monitor shipments, keeping clients informed throughout the booking process.
  • Produce necessary documents for the department, including booking confirmations, shipping notes, Bills of Lading, and instructions to the lines.
  • Arrange customs entries, VGMs, and other relevant procedures to ensure smooth shipment of cargo.
  • Engage with clients directly, handling queries and finding solutions as needed, with support and training provided.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Proactive and eager to contribute to a new and growing department.
