Orbital Recruitment is seeking General Operatives for NIGHT shifts in Ilkeston, offering immediate interviews and starts.
Candidates must have manufacturing experience in areas such as welding, machining, fitting, or assembly work.
The position involves training in production stages, primarily welding flanges on large utility pipes for the Water and Waste sectors.
The salary is £17 per hour, with overtime rates of x1.5 on weekdays and Saturdays, and x2 on Sundays, along with a profit share scheme and quarterly bonuses once permanent.
Basic experience in MIG welding, machining, or assembly work is required, and the contract is temporary to permanent with hours from 11pm to 7am.

IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW AND STARTS

Must have manufacturing experience such as welding, machining, fitting or assembly work.

Duties:

You will recieve training on all stages of production
Welding flanges on large utility pipes for the Water and Waste sectors predominately.
Using automatic welding machines to weld the flanges on the pipes and manual welding any defects.
Machining work on various sizes of pipes.
