We are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the team of Erewash Borough Council in Ilkeston

Details of the Grounds Maintenance Operative
- Salary:12.18 per hour
- Overtime available
- Standard hours of 37 hours per week, but this role will require a level of flexibility (working days between Monday and Saturday)
- Location: Ilkeston
- Duration: Ongoing - can lead to permanent opportunities for suitable candidates
Role of the Grounds Maintenance Operative:
- To maintain the green spaces within the Borough of Ilkeston
- Full, clean driving licence is required.
- Must have a good understanding of ground maintenance from working in a similar role.
- Grass mowing, trimming and general gardening
- Will also need to have the ability to organise work effectively with the team ,safety as the first priority.
- Reporting directly to the Parks and Gardens manager
