We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our customer's onsite operations team in Swindon. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of high-quality maintenance operations and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): to ensure PPM schedules are completed efficiently, accurately documented within the Computerised Maintenance System (CMS), and improved over time.
Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Drive feedback and innovation within the maintenance program.
Service and Repair: Perform fault diagnosis, repair, and servicing of all site equipment, proactively identifying replacement needs and minimizing downtime.
Identify Projects and Lifecycle Needs: Pinpoint future repair requirements and potential enhancement projects to boost operational efficiency.
Maintain Health and Safety Standards: Contribute to creating, updating, and following all health and safety documentation and maintain high housekeeping standards in all automated areas.
Experience Required for the Maintenance Engineer
Qualifications: ONC/HNC or equivalent; Electrical bias preferred.
Experience: Proficient in engineering and maintenance with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Communication & Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively and work well solo or within a team environment.

Competitive Salary: £54,000 per year.

Flexible Support Schedule: Core hours are day shifts Monday through Friday, with shared out-of-hours support duties as needed on a 50/50 basis with the Maintenance Engineer Manager.
