We are currently recruiting for a Senior Test Development Engineering for our aerospace and defence client at a very exciting time for this business.

The Test Development Engineer is responsible for designing, manufacturing, verifying, and validating board level, sub-system, and system level test equipment. They collaborate with other team members to agree on system designs, interfaces, and protocols, and develop appropriate test hardware, test software, and procedures to prove the correct operation of hardware. They also provide support to manufacturing, manage obsolescence throughout the lifecycle of the test hardware, and monitor and report on progress of test development.

Ideally you will have experience in developing test hardware, fixtures, wiring schedules etc to perform tests on a proof of concept, proof of design, initial production and volume production product and/or Write the software for LabView/Testst and/CVI.

Skills:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or related subject
  • Test software design experience
  • Excellent knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design
  • Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation
  • Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products
  • Ability to work individually and in a team
