CNC Programmer

Pro-Found Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer based in Chesterfield, S43.

CNC Programmer Benefits:

• Salary 30k + DOE
• Hours: 40 per week - Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm & Fridays 8am to 2pm
• Location: Chesterfield, S43
• Standard pension after 3 months at 8% with optional input

CNC Programmer Duties:

• Programming, setting, and operating 3 Celoria sliding head machines.
• Producing components to required tolerances and quality standards, right first time
• Finishing components to the highest quality standards
• Identifying and recommending programme amendments to improve efficiency and/or quality
• Making authorised amendments to CNC programmes to meet component design requirements
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet the required quality standards

CNC Programmer Criteria:

• The successful applicant must be a team player who can equally work on their own initiative, and meet the following criteria:
• Experienced CNC programmer, with experience of operating sliding head machines
• Experience of programming with Siemens controls will be beneficial
• Qualified through apprenticeship or HND
• Able to manufacture precision components from fully understanding engineering drawings in terms of tolerances, surface finish etc.
• Methodical and focused approach to work
• Focused on quality with high level of attention to detail
• Good team player
• Flexible approach to work
• Able to work well under pressure
