About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a local school in Chesterfield. You will work closely with students 1:1 and small group support to ensure they can fully engage with their education. The school is looking for an immediate start for the right candidate and is potentially a long term role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing engaging and structured lessons that align with the national curriculum.
• Teach literature, language, and writing skills to students aged 11-16
• Use a variety of teaching methods (discussions, group work, digital tools) to engage students
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other support workers to promote an inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage and support students to build confidence and achieve their full potential.

What We’re Looking For:

• QTS qualification
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting (preferred).
• A genuine passion for supporting students 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to adapt to the needs of individual learners and build positive relationships.
• Maintaining discipline and fostering a positive learning environment.
