Manual Grinder

Hunt4 Employment is seeking a skilled Grinder to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for grinding and finishing metal components to meet precise specifications.

This role requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of mechanical processes. The Grinder will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Operate grinding machines and hand tools to shape and finish metal parts.
• Fabricate parts from sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
• OperateManual Jones and Shipman grinding machinesto produce precision components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate grinding.

Key Requirements:

• Proficient in grinding techniques and the use of hand tools.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with tooling processes and sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Manual Grinder, specifically withManual Jones and Shipmanmachines.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday 38 h a week, day shift
