They are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager with a MEICA background.
Position: Project Manager
Location: Glasgow based with travel throughout Scotland when required
Role Overview:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering a significant, long-term framework. You'll thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment focused on creativity and innovation, with the ultimate goal of delivering high-quality, cutting-edge engineering solutions to clients. Ensuring projects are executed efficiently and economically while adhering to all regulations will be a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team on projects primarily in the water and wastewater industries.
- Lead and manage the project team, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Uphold Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Liaise with existing and new clients.
- Manage budgets effectively.
- Oversee site personnel.
- Attend and contribute to internal and external progress reviews and meetings.
- Handle commercial management.
- Maintain accurate records and review all project information.
- Ensure adherence to all contractual agreements.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree or HNC level qualification in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- Proven experience managing various civil engineering projects, primarily within the water sector.
- MEICA background in the water sector is desirable.
- Extensive technical knowledge and responsibility for all civils site activities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts.
- Pro-active communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
