About the Client

Our client is a leading global engineering firm known for its expertise in designing and delivering projects within the water sector. They are currently expanding their commercial team in Scotland and are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team for projects in the West of Scotland. 

Job Details

  • Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Location: West of Scotland
  • Sector: Civil Engineering (Water)
  • Contract: Minimum 12 months
  • Start Date: Immediate

 

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing projects from the tender phase through to the final account.
  • Producing accurate forecasts of project costs.
  • Conducting commercial reporting.
  • Providing commercial assistance to operational teams and other departments as needed.

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in a surveying role within the civil engineering sector, ideally with a focus on water projects.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a commercial discipline.
  • Knowledge of various contracts, with a particular emphasis on bespoke forms of contract.
