Accountant

This is a new opportunity to join a global organisation based in Stevenage.Based at an incredible site with extensive facilities you will be an experienced Accountant, Qualified, with good knowledge and experience of statutory accounting and IFRS. You should have excellent Excel skills and have used SAP or another ERP system. This business is built around long term contracts, your CV will need to demonstrate that you have experience of working for an organisation with long-term projects/contracts.Joining an established finance team your role will include:Preparation of monthly management reports, understanding variances and presenting to the Head of Accounting, Reporting, and Planning, and Finance DirectorsPreparation/review of monthly management reports submitted to Group Accounting teamPreparation of annual statutory accounts for the UK entities including consolidated accountsActing as main point of contact for both external and internal auditorsPreparation and reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accountsSupporting the Tax Manager in the preparation and completion of VAT returnsPoint of contact for in country accountants, maintaining relationships to ensure timely and accurate receipt of financial data for reportingDrive Financial Reporting and Planning improvement including recommending, developing and implementing revised procedures and controlsThis role can pay £50-55,000 plus a Bonus with both dynamic and hybrid working.There is an extensive benefits package available along with market leading onsite facilities.This is a new opportunity to join a global organisation based in Stevenage.Based at an incredible site with extensive facilities you will be an experienced Accountant, Qualified, with good knowledge and experience of statutory accounting and IFRS.
