An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit Semi-Senior | Senior to join an established accountancy firm based in Stevenage. This role offers a diverse client portfolio, providing audit services across a wide range of industries. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and conducting audits, with hands-on experience across multiple client industries.
  • Work closely with the Audit Manager to complete audit fieldwork and documentation.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support junior team members, reviewing their work and providing mentorship as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, offering valuable insights and building trust.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified (or equivalent) with previous experience in an audit role.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and the ability to apply these practically across different industries.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple engagements.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with clients and team members.
