Job: Interim Financial Controller
Location: Hertfordshire
Day rate: c500
Length of contract: minimum 3 months
Our client is in search of an Interim Financial Controller in Hertfordshire to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for leading the finance team and supporting the company's vision. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a diverse team, contribute to the company's growth, and make a significant impact on its future success.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a small team; supporting and coaching the finance team
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, including daily cash flow forecasting
- Spotting cost-saving opportunities and improving processes to enhance efficiencies across the business
- Overseeing monthly management accounts preparation, ensuring timely completion
- Supervising the fixed asset process, including depreciation
- Completion of quarterly VAT returns
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proven track record in managerial roles
- Highly proficient in excel
This role offers hybrid work and is offering c£500pd.
