We are currently partnering with a Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Governance Support Officer to join their growing team on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing secretariat support for several sub-committees, working closely with committee chairs and senior managers for both academic departments and professional services
  • Taking minutes of agreed Committee and Board meetings, ensuring these meetings are run effectively and producing approved minutes within the allotted time period
  • Developing and circulating meeting agendas and papers, as well as monitoring that follow up actions have been carried out sufficiently
  • Preparing papers, reports and spreadsheets in relation to governance and risk management and/or insurance
  • Identifying and implementing changes to policies and procedures to ensure the service continues to meet agreed quality standards, guidelines and procedures

Experience required:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in the sector and have used OneAdvanced software.

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
