Our more than 2,500 employees worldwide develop and manufacture logistics solutions that are used in many different sectors such as industrial manufacturing, retail and administration.Our team is expanding and we would be looking for a full time Installation Technician to support our customers in northern England and Scotland.This is a remote role. You will be the face of the Life Cycle Service department at our customer sites across the region Northern England/Scotland.Although experience in electrical and/or mechanical installation is advantageous, it is not essential. What truly matters is your ambition to grow in this exciting and innovative area.

As an Installation Technician your tasks are:

  • Provide a high quality of customer service in accordance with established policy.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and the service desk at prescribed intervals.

  • Accurately report on a visit-by-visit basis via appropriate documentation/call tracker in a timely manner.

  • Work with minimum supervision, always maintaining appropriate communication.

  • Aid and assist fellow workers as and when required.

  • Ensure that all personal PPE is maintained as required and inspected at required intervals.

  • Work within agreed quality and health and safety standards.

Installation Technician Profile

  • Motivated to work in a field role.

  • Full Driving license.

  • Technical / mechanical / electronic experience preferred

  • IT literate.

  • Excellent interpersonal & customer handling skills

  • Must be based in the north or Scotland

  • Willingness to travel including overnight stays.
