New Business Executive - Charity Sector Insurance (Hybrid Role)

Location: Stevenage Hybrid (3 days office-based, Remote, with occasional client visits)

Salary: 拢40,000-45,000 plus bonus and benefits

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven New Business Executive to join a dynamic team, focusing on the charity sector.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home, collaborating in the office, and meeting with clients face-to-face when needed to understand their unique insurance requirements.

You will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to charitable organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development: Proactively identify and target potential charity clients, including small, medium, and large charitable organisations. Develop a pipeline of opportunities and convert leads into new business.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, responding to inquiries, and delivering personalised insurance solutions. Serve as the primary point of contact for new charity clients throughout the sales process.

Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and present customised insurance proposals and presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating how our products can meet their specific needs. Deliver clear, compelling messaging about the value of your offerings.

Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with underwriters, claims teams, and product experts to ensure proposals are aligned with the client鈥檚 needs. Leverage internal resources to offer comprehensive and competitive insurance solutions.

Client Visits: Conduct occasional face-to-face meetings with clients, especially for complex or high-value opportunities where a more personal touch is required. Prepare for these visits by conducting thorough research on the client鈥檚 charity, their risks, and their insurance requirements.

Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions to close new business opportunities. Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients once agreements are reached.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all new business processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal company policies. Prepare and submit documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

路 Experience within sales is preferable or the interest in new business

路 Industry Knowledge across various commercial products. An exposure to the charity sector is beneficial but not essential

路 Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance products in an accessible way.

路 Relationship Building: Ability to build trust and rapport with charity leaders, trustees, and decision-makers. A consultative approach to sales is essential.

路 Self-Motivation and Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and deliver results while balancing the flexibility of remote work and the requirements of occasional in-person meetings.

路 Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software (e.g., Acturis), and digital communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams) is preferable

路 Ability to travel for client meetings, sometimes at short notice, while managing a hybrid work schedule.
