We are seeking a Laboratory Technician for a research & development laboratory in Hertfordshire.
The role involves testing precious metals, including setting up analyses and conducting sample preparation.
Candidates should have a degree (BSc) in chemistry or metallurgy and prior laboratory experience.
The position requires adherence to quality standards such as ISO17025 and data recording on LIMS.

We currently have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join a research & development laboratory in Hertfordshire.

As a Laboratory Technician you will carry out testing of precious metals.

Responsibilities include:

Set up and run analysis of precious metals.
Conduct sample preparation.
Ensure stock chemicals are maintained and re-ordered when needed.
Ensure all work is carried out to required quality standards including ISO17025
Record data and results onto LIMS.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in a Laboratory and have a degree (BSc) in chemistry or metallurgy (or related subject)
