We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our client's team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving growth within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in achieving targets and expanding market presence, within the engineering / technical sector.

Business Development Executive

This is an opportunity to join a well-established organisation, experts in their field. As part of an expansion plan, we are looking for a dynamic and high achieving field sales executive / business development manager, to cover the UK. You will have experience of selling a product, ideally a designed solution tailor made to the clients.

Essential Results are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established in their field and known for their outstanding service to customers. They are now looking for an experienced sales individual who has a proven track record in field sales. The ideal Business Development Executive will be self-motivated, and have the ambition and passion required to succeed. This is a fantastic opportunity. You will need to hold a full UK driving license with the ability to drive a manual car as this is a field-based role.

Previous Experience and Person Specification for the Business Development Executive:

Previous sales experience is a must

Have a naturally persuasive personality with the ability to gain commitment from customers

Independent and the ability to work on your own initiative and think on your feet

The drive to achieve

Main duties:

Maximise the sales for your area by managing the expectations of the customer and ensuring they are at the heart of everything you do

Introduce new markets

Consistently offer new product recommendations to customers and promote these

Understand the customers business needs and develop a sales plan for them that represents this

To arrange meetings with customers and attend these visits

You will need to be able to regularly forecast sales activity and plan for this effectively

To generate new business by lead generation and following up on this
