Our client offers a high-quality complete building services across a diverse range of sectors. The services that they provide consist of Rail Maintenance, Educational Facilities Management, Healthcare Construction, Civic Building, Church Building and Facilities Management.

Due to company growth, our client is looking to bring a Fabric Manager in to join their highly experienced and qualified team. The Fabric Manager will be responsible for managing the fabric elements of the GTR stations Hard FM services contract, ensuring all requirements are met, while also supporting the Help Desk and maintaining strong client relationships.

What's in it for you?

  • This position will be office based in St Albans but will require regular travel as and when needed around the North of England.
  • Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience).
  • Working hours: 07:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (additional hours may be required depending on workload).

Position Overview

  • Oversee the fabric aspects of the GTR stations Hard FM services contract, ensuring full compliance with all GTR KPIs and SLAs.
  • Possess a proven track record in Facilities Management, with strong expertise in CAFM systems.
  • Foster strong client relationships, participating in client meetings as needed.
  • Expand business opportunities by growing relationships with existing clients and introducing new clients.
  • Adhere to the HBS gated project management process and submit monthly reports to the Contract Manager.
  • Participate in training and Health and Safety courses as directed by the Contracts Manager.

Position Requirements

  • Proven experience in the projects and facilities management sector.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Able to prioritise and manage workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience within the Rail industry is preferred but not essential.
  • PTS is desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Any recognised relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Outlook
