Description

  • Lead and manage the Facilities team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of all campus facilities, including buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement facilities management strategies, ensuring they align with the institution's objectives and research needs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure the effective use of space, equipment, and resources.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, and contracts related to facilities management services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Address any day-to-day facilities issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure facilities support the institution's long-term strategic goals.

Profile

  • Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within a research or academic setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, environmental sustainability, and building maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
