We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Manager to join our projects team in planning, executing and overseeing a range of projects. Ideal candidate will be detail orientated, proactive and eager to learn the intricacies of project management.  This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with limited experience in project management or someone returning to project management after a career break to gain hands-on experience and grow within the company.

Job Title: IS Project Manager

Salary: Circa £40-45K depending on experience 

Location: Stevenage, Bolton or Bristol based

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 1-2 days per week on-site depending on business need.

Security Clearance: The role will require SC clearance. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager within the Information Systems team in the UK. Working in the IS Enterprise Services team, the Project Manager will have the opportunity to manage projects for IM, Security and Facility applications. In addition the opportunity to manage wider Enterprise application deployments for UK.

As Project Manager, you will assist in project planning, collaborating with Senior Project Manager and project teams to define project goals, objectives, scope, tasks and timelines.  Co-ordinate resources and maintain project documentation. Communicate with Stakeholders providing regular updates on project status and escalate potential issues. As part of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments in IM and third-party suppliers.  You will have the opportunity for growth and development in the project management field and receive mentorship and training from Senior Project Manager and other team members.
