Are you looking for your next role within Account Management? My client is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join their UK external sales office of a family-owned company on a 12-month fixed term contract in the first instance.
This role involves managing a portfolio of blue-chip clients predominantly in the retail industry, including major accounts like Tesco, Sainsbury’s and M&S.
The Role:- Assist the Key Account Directors and Sales Managers in all aspects of account management
- Some face-to-face meetings with customers.
- Prepare meeting agendas
- Manage internal data for the account
- Assist with the general running of the officeÂ
- Handle data entry, order processing, and credit control for your account.
- Assist the external sales team in dealing with any quality complaints.
- Oversee orders placed by your account from quotation to in-store delivery
- Experience managing high-profile blue-chip accounts.
- Articulate and experienced in a client-facing role.
- Ability to work under pressureÂ
- Skilled in analysing raw data
- Comfortable using customers’ external online systems
- Willingness and ability to learn about packaging and sustainability.
- Strong IT skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related business field is highly regarded.
