Senior National Account Manager - Foodservice 

Hybrid 

£60,000 + 25% Bonus + Car

Do you want to lead and develop a high-performing sales team in a dynamic foodservice environment?

Are you an experienced sales leader with a proven track record in FMCG foodservice and wholesale sales?

The Advocate Group are currently representing a leading foodservice brand in the UK & Ireland.

We are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to drive continuous growth through the profitable sales of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an agreed portfolio of key customers including Brakes, Bidfood, Buying Groups and Wholesalers
  • Lead and develop a team of Key & Territory Sales Managers to drive performance.
  • Negotiate trading terms with wholesale, cash & carry, and foodservice accounts.
  • Develop and execute annual joint business plans with key customers.
  • Implement pricing strategies to ensure profitability and business growth.
  • Monitor and manage the annual budget while providing long-term sales forecasts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the foodservice sector.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to sales colleagues to achieve targets.

About You:

  • Proven success in managing and negotiating with Foodservice wholesale & cash & carry groups.
  • Strong commercial, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in trade marketing, promotions, and sales strategy.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Results-driven, enthusiastic, and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • A strong people manager, capable of motivating a high-performing sales team.
  • Strategic Leader – Ability to build and execute commercial sales strategies.
  • Commercially Driven – Focused on achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Results-Oriented – Tenacious, proactive, and motivated to exceed expectations.
  • Influential Negotiator – Skilled in developing strong client relationships.
