My client, a successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking a confident and talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Hertfordshire. My client is known for providing advanced engineering solutions across a wide variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities for this Graduate Structural Engineer include:

  • Assist in the design, analysis, and detailing of structural projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support the preparation of reports, technical drawings, and calculations.
  • Work closely with architects, clients, and other professionals to deliver innovative, practical solutions.
  • Contribute to the coordination and delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to assist with project development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with team members on a variety of engineering tasks while gaining experience in both design and project management.

The Ideal Graduate Structural Engineer will have:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • A minimum or 1-4 years' experience, domestic or steelworks is preferred.
  • Proficient in structural design software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A keen interest in developing practical engineering skills and progressing towards chartered status.
