Salary: £24,960 - £30,080
Contract: Full-Time | Permanent position
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Main Duties:
- Maintenance Tasks: Weekly and monthly planned tasks, including fire alarm tests, water temperature recording, and emergency lighting tests.
- Repairs: First-line response to reactive repairs, minor building fabric repairs, decorating, and plumbing tasks.
- Cleaning: General office cleaning, toilet facilities cleaning, and replenishment of consumables at remote sites.
- Support Tasks: Porterage duties, supporting external landscaping, and other janitorial duties as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work orders and comply with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
Health & Safety:
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Report deficiencies in systems or equipment.
- Use work equipment and PPE properly.
- Take personal responsibility for Health & Safety matters.
Requirements:
- Experience: Building maintenance, handy person, or janitorial duties.
- Skills: Proactive approach, good communication, ability to work within a team, and excellent customer service.
- Qualifications: Full UK driving licence, good knowledge of building statutory compliance, and ability to record work accurately.
- Attributes: Confident, driven, flexible, and presented in a professional manner.
