Join MBDA to assist in delivery of the Environmental Requirement Specifications and associated proving methodology.

Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

  • Development and delivery of the Munition Environmental Requirement Specification.
  • Development and delivery of the Munition Equipment Environmental Requirement Specifications to Suppliers.
  • Foster a productive working relationship with Suppliers (both internal MBDA and external), to understand impact of requirements and where alleviations could be beneficial.
  • Using DOORS NG as a tool to enable capture and flow down of the Equipment ERSs to internal MBDA and external Supplier authorities. Linking of requirements to sure traceability across the Requirements model.
  • Identifying an approach for using DOORS NG as a tool to correctly capture and flow up assurance of the Equipment design(s) against the Environmental requirements provided.

What we are looking for from you:

  • This role requires DOORS experience, as the candidate will be required to work mostly within a set of DOORS NG modules, ensuring these are updated on the basis of the latest information available.
  • This role requires the ability of Systems level thinking, balancing the needs of different stakeholders to arrive at an appropriate single solution.
  • Experience of writing requirements is required, as the candidate will be writing and modifying Environmental requirements at various levels.
  • Experience of working within the Environmental domain is desired (Note: this is the Environment experienced by the product, not the impact of the product on the Environment).
