Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Stevenage
Salary: 30,000 - 34,000 (Dependent on experience)
My client, a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy based in the Southeast, currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work. They are a rapidly growing Asbestos inspection, testing, and remediation company with a strong reputation for quality and integrity. Specialising in asbestos surveying for refurbishment and pre-demolition within various construction projects, they offer a comprehensive range of asbestos services. With my client recently securing new commercial and hotel contracts, they are now seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor. To attract the ideal candidate, they are offering a competitive benefits package, which includes:

Requirements:
- BOHS P402 Qualified
- Full UK driving licence
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in carrying out asbestos surveys
- Training and certifications such as CSCS, Asbestos Medical Certificate, Face Fit Certificates, and working at height are desirable but not essential
- Successful DBS check
Responsibilities:
- Conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys on both commercial and domestic buildings
- Undertaking re-inspections and updating the asbestos register and management plans
- Adhering to Health & Safety standards, regulations, and codes of practice regarding asbestos
- Working within company policies and quality systems to maintain UKAS accreditation
- Traveling across the UK to client sites as required
