Location: Hertfordshire office Remuneration: Up to £38,000neg + commission, OTE £44,000Benefits: Full Benefits PackageThe role of the Business Development Executive - Plumbing & Heating will involve:

  • Business Development Executive position, selling the design, manufacture and supply of underfloor heating systems
  • Selling to main contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors and housebuilders
  • Predominately an office based role however you will be required to travel to site and visit clients as and when necessary
  • Responsible for bringing on new business, increasing brand awareness and strengthening our clients position within the market
  • Generating sales opportunities via different resource channels such as: networking, social media, existing accounts and visiting new potential clients
  • Developing and maintaining strong, long lasting business relationships
  • Liaising with clients and customers to gain a full understanding of their requirements, enabling you to offer expert advice that’ll suffice their needs
  • Providing an excellent level of customer service at all times
  • Following up on enquiries and updating with internal CRM system with all accurate information
  • Typical project values vary from between £5k and £10k

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Executive - Plumbing & Heating with:

  • Must have office sales experience, ideally within the construction industry or within a B2B environment
  • Contract selling experience would be highly beneficial
  • Under floor heating experience would be highly advantageous, however not essential
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organised and focused with strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated, confident, driven and ambitious
  • Must have a full UK driving license
