Our client is a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) offering a wide range of IT, telecoms, and business solutions. They are known for their cutting-edge services and excellent customer support, helping businesses optimise their IT infrastructure. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a driven and results-focused Field Sales Consultant to join their team.
Role Overview:As a Field Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving new business by solution selling to prospective clients in the IT and telecoms sectors. You will be tasked with generating leads and closing sales, building long-lasting relationships, and identifying business opportunities across the region. If the telesales team hasn't provided enough qualified leads, you will be expected to generate your own business through your proactive sales efforts.
You will be office-based in Broxbourne but will need to travel within your region, meeting clients face-to-face and driving your sales targets forward. You will also have the opportunity to choose a salary and commission structure that best suits you, with the option of a self-employed commission-only package for more flexibility and earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and solution selling to potential clients.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations with prospective clients to demonstrate the value of the company's managed services solutions.
- Develop tailored IT and telecom solutions for clients, working closely with the technical team to provide the best possible offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work closely with the telesales team to ensure you have enough leads in the pipeline and collaborate on strategies to close deals.
- Actively manage your sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and progression of opportunities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth of the business.
- Drive to client sites regularly, so a full, clean driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Proven experience in field sales, ideally within the IT, telecoms, or managed services industry.
- Strong solution-selling skills and the ability to tailor services to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve targets and grow business.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and generate your own leads when necessary.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy sales pipeline.
- A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle for client visits.
