Distribution and Connections
This role will be within our Distribution and connections division. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure.
Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.

Are you ready to take on the challenge of managing the delivery of HV Cabling projects in the East of England for UKPN?
As a Contracts Manager, you'll oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from the initial design and development stages to the successful completion of site delivery.
What will you be doing?
Ready to take charge and drive growth in the cabling project workstream with UK Power Networks and other clients? As a leader, you'll support the project delivery team, represent our company in client meetings, and provide commercial/programme support.
You'll track and demonstrate progress through project stages, contribute to project governance, and assist in scoping, pricing, and creating project delivery programmes.
Compliance with M Group procedures and legislation is key, encouraging innovation and cost-effective methods.
Working with the estimating team on tender processes is also a key part of the role.
What youll bring
  • 5+ years in large capital delivery programmes
  • Understanding of engineering policy, procedure, and legislation
  • Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead a team and build client relationships
  • Develop processes to improve outputs and measure success
  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Promote inclusion and diversity
  • HV power engineering/cabling experience, HNC/Degree in Engineering, or NEBOSH Safety Management qualification preferred but not required
