We are recruiting for a Data Administrator, this is a temporary to permanent position based in Stevenage, working for a large prestigious international business - great opportunity !

You will be temping for up to 12 weeks with a view to going onto a permanent contact of which the annual salary will be £26800 plus an attractive benefits package.

It will a 40-hour working week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.

This is a hybrid role - once trained up you will be able to split the week from working in the offices in Stevenage and working from home.

The main purpose of the role is to maintain the supplier database with all the relevant company codes and company information, following all processes, policies and procedures relating to all suppliers, records of existing suppliers and monitoring supplier relationships.

Main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Maintain all the elements of purchasing data with the company systems - using SAP, various databases and in-house systems.
  • Collating supplier information and documentation.
  • To provide quality a quality support service to internal customers and suppliers.
  • To conduct monthly and quarterly housekeeping and cleansing of the data.
  • Resolves issues and queries raised by the internal customer and supplier.
  • Conduct data management reviews.
  • Day to day communication with suppliers and contractors by various means.
  • Manage accurate population of Excel spreadsheets and transfer of data onto internal systems.
  • Assist with supplier audits.
  • Attend team meetings when required.
  • Plus other ad hoc duties associated with this role.

Person Specification:

  • Be methodical, organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Good level of IT proficient and able to pick up new systems quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong administration experience.
