We are recognised for our proficiency in OpenShift and have a strong partnership with a leading provider of enterprise open-source solutions.The Role:In this position, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by identifying new commercial opportunities and providing guidance within the business development team to expand our services and software resales revenues. You will stay informed about trends and market conditions to offer strategic advice to the senior management team.Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on acquiring new business, with 40% - 50% of your quota consisting of net new business.
- Identify new buyers within existing accounts and secure new signings.
- Collaborate with various teams throughout the sales cycle, including Pre-Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
- Develop, support, and implement commercial strategies to accelerate growth.
- Work closely with Marketing to define and execute lead generation campaigns.
- Present our services and offerings to potential new customers.
- Acquire new customers through a strategic pipeline, meeting agreed growth targets.
- Establish and nurture new business relationships to support internal growth targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities.
- Monitor performance using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior Sales or Business Development role within a software development or cloud services environment.
- Strong track record of achieving growth in line with agreed new business targets.
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and pipeline management.
- Commercial awareness combined with a strategic mindset.
- Practical application of cost models to ensure agreed profitability targets are met.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Mode of Work:We offer a balance between home, office. There is a requirement to meet the line manager once a week and this can be either in Hertfordshire, Leeds or anywhere in betweenWhat's on Offer:
