Venn Group Electrical Systems Engineer SC Cleared12 Month+ Contract On-Site - Hertfordshire £50-£55 p/h (Inside IR35, Umbrella)

Our market-leading client are urgently seeking a AIT Electrical Systems Engineer to join them on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide test solutions to meet test specification requirements through test sequence coding, procedure preparation and debug to execution
  • Provide 1st line support to the test operations team executing tests
  • Development and debug of ATP (Automatic Test Procedures) using bespoke high-level software language
  • Support the systems functional and performance tests during environmental test (Magnetic, EMC, TVAC)
  • Create test reports and provide an  interpretation of electrical and functional test requirements from test specifications

Skills Required:

  • Recent hands-on experience of writing test sequences/scripts for execution of spacecraft tests from CCS (Central Checkout system)
  • Spacecraft systems and subsystem technical knowledge and awareness is essential
  • Working knowledge of TMTC Databases
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linus operating systems
  • SC Cleared

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of programming languages e.g. C, Java, Python, TCL
  • Programming and scripting languages e.g. writing and debugging Linux/Unix bash scripts
  • Spacecraft electrical and harness knowledge
