Reed Engineering are working with one of the top FMCG company in the UK who are looking for someone to join their team as a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for a challenging yet rewarding career in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Diagnose and correct automation, electrical, and mechanical issues to resolve breakdown situations promptly.
- Ensure consistent delivery of our engineering strategy across the plant.
- Deliver turn-key improvement projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Drive the performance of the Engineering function forward, focusing on safe working practices and site performance KPIs including OEE and CCOs.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives alongside proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and site services.
- Perform additional duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to train, coach, and assist operators and other engineers.
- A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation, or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable, supported by suitable experience.
- Enthusiastic and motivated, with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Flexibility and cooperativeness to meet business needs.
