Venn Group’s client are seeking a Reliability Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team, contributing towards the production of FMECAs and contribution throughout the overall lifecycle.  

This is a full-time position working hybrid on a contract basis 

Main duties of the job:

  • Satisfying the requirements of the Def Stan 00-40.
  • Conduct system and sub-system reliability activities during all lifecycle phases
  • Derivation of appropriate reliability requirements.
  • Preparation of reliability and maintainability predictions.
  • Production of in-depth FMECAs
  • Creation and management of critical items lists.
  • Reliability test planning and support
  • Provide assurance that reliability requirements have been achieved
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams

QUALIFICATION/ SPECIAL TRAINING

  • Degree in Engineering
  • 5 Years experience in Reliability Engineer or similar ideally within Aerospace, Automotive, or Defence sectors
  • Deep understanding of FMECAs and knowledge of reliability
  • The ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

  • complex electronic systems experience Electronic based degree
  • Security clearance (Preferably SC)
  • UKEO Requirement
