Our client, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, is currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Manufacturing Technician. This role requires a qualified craftsman with extensive experience in electrical manufacturing. The Manufacturing Technician will report to a Team Leader, who will provide daily direction on tasks such as assembly, inspection, and testing, as well as prioritisation of these tasks.
The ideal candidate for the Electrical Manufacturing Technician position will possess a versatile and flexible skill-set. They should be capable of certifying products and applying their skills across a range of tasks using equipment, tools, gauges, and measuring instruments. This includes the production, repair, and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specification requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
- Certify products in accordance with established certification procedures.
- Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
- Versatile skill set with the ability to apply skills across various tasks.
- Proficient with all equipment, tools, and measuring instruments used in the manufacturing process.
- Ensure timely completion of manufacturing, inspection, and testing tasks.
- Accurately complete all paperwork related to the manufacturing data pack.
- Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and product quality.
- Adhere to all manufacturing process procedures and ensure compliance.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
- Promote best practices and share knowledge with team members.
