The Role:We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a high-performing team ensuring the reliability and compliance of electronic equipment in development. This role is pivotal in maintaining product integrity, reducing non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement across engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:? Quality Planning & Compliance: Review and maintain Equipment Quality documentation, ensuring adherence to BMS procedures.? Non-Conformance Management: Lead defect investigations, root cause analysis (RCA, 8D, DMAIC), and deliver data-driven reports.? Product Lifecycle Oversight: Facilitate design/production reviews and mitigate risks to enhance customer satisfaction.? Process Improvement: Identify QA efficiencies, conduct audits, and deliver targeted training to engineering teams.
Essential Skills & Experience:-
HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering/QA (or substantial experience in a related role).

Proven QA background, ideally within electronic engineering or defence development.

Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, DMAIC).

Analytical proficiency: Excel, SAP QM, document management tools.

Eligibility for UK security clearance (must be a British Citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship).
