Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer

Are you a Systems Engineer with Space, Aerospace or Communications industry experience, are you experienced in writing and debugging test sequences and procedures, have you worked on Test systems. Do you have experience of either C or Java or similar ?

If you are then we may have an exciting new long-term contract role for you !

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Prepare, debug, and execute complex test sequences for satellite systems during ambient and environmental test campaigns.
  • Provide first-line support to the test operations team and assist in non-conformance reviews.
  • Write detailed test reports and support test reviews.
  • Develop and debug Automatic Test Procedures (ATP) using high-level software languages.
  • Support spacecraft system investigations and functional/performance tests during environmental tests.

Skills and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with writing test sequences/scripts for spacecraft tests.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems, including data handling, communication protocols, and power systems.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Elisa, JAVA, Linux/Unix bash scripts.
  • Competence in using various electrical measurement test equipment.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom disciplines and system testing & verification.

Education & Training:

  • Minimum of a degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in a similar role for 5+ years.
  • Experience in spacecraft or avionic system engineering and complex electronic systems testing.
