Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Proving Engineer to join their team in Stevenage on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, conduct, and report on Equipment Level Proving activities
- Join a motivated, focussed team, where communication and sharing information is key
- Work in a friendly and supportive environment, providing opportunities to meet career aspirations and achieve a real feeling of success
- Involve in multi-million pound international projects, owning and delivering a critical element of the proving process
- Travel to other UK locations to support trials as necessary
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to build a network and learn about other areas of the business
- Develop and enhance skills via mentoring, formal training, and on-the-job training with potential career progression
Job Requirements:
- Experience in V&V and Systems Engineering
- Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in writing trials and technical documentation
- Appreciation of electronics technologies and products designed and produced in the Defence & Security sector
- Understanding of Systems Proving Process and associated methodologies
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of internal customers, sub-contractors, partners, and suppliers at both engineering and management levels
