Our client is a respected manufacturer of electrical hardware solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, collaborative team as a Technical Support Engineer, where you will play a key role in providing exceptional technical support to their customers.

Technical Support Engineer – Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical customer support via phone and email, logging all activities using Zendesk.
  • Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance for hardware and software products.
  • Assist with installations and technical support at customer sites when needed.
  • Monitor hosted services for site faults or data anomalies and notify relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the RMA process and ensure customer satisfaction with timely follow-ups.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including FAQs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues.
  • Ad-hoc support across departments.

Technical Support Engineer – What We’re Looking For:

  • GCSE or higher in Maths is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Qualifications in electronics or IT are advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of installing and maintaining SQL databases is beneficial.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
