Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Events Manager to lead the marketing and events strategy for a medium sized business. This role requires a hands-on professional with a proven track record in managing multiple social media accounts, Google AdWords campaigns, and new business initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing creative marketing campaigns with the logistical demands of planning and events across England.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop, manage, and execute annual marketing calendars to align with business objectives.
  • Plan, run, and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media.
  • Oversee and manage multiple social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding, engagement, and growth.

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage Google AdWords campaigns, including budget allocation, keyword optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Track and analyze digital marketing metrics to assess effectiveness and inform decision-making.
  • Oversee website management, ensuring content is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for SEO.

Event Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, and logistics management. Arranging Guest tickets, travel and other requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Travel to event locations and oversee on-site management and execution.

New Business Campaigns:

  • Lead initiatives to identify and target new business opportunities through tailored marketing efforts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients and partners to drive business growth.

Administrative and Analytical Support:

  • Utilise Excel for budgeting, data analysis on existing business, and reporting on campaign/event performance.
  • Prepare regular marketing and event performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and event management.
  • Proven expertise in managing social media accounts, Google AdWords, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in planning and executing events, including large-scale and high-profile projects.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in website management tools (e.g., WordPress, CMS platforms).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate ideas into actionable campaigns.
