Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary financial advisor to managers, providing insights on financial performance and operational decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with operational teams to understand business drivers, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to align financial plans with network-wide strategies
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial targets
  • Conduct variance analysis, identify key drivers behind performance, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present insightful financial reports and dashboards tailored to stakeholders
  • Analyse and track key financial metrics, including cost-per-activity, inventory holding costs, and labour efficiency.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance site and network performance.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
  • Provide financial modelling and analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions like workforce planning and capacity adjustments.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Help standardise financial processes to improve consistency and accuracy across sites.

Candidate Profile:

  • A professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is highly desirable.
  • Significant experience in financial planning, analysis, or business partnering roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial tools and systems (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
