- Production of monthly management accounts for multiple group companies
- Oversee the daily postings of all ledgers
- Weekly cashflow forecasting
- Production of annual statutory accounts and tax computations for multiple entities
- Assistance with due diligence of potential acquisition opportunities
- Willingness to travel to group company offices if required on a pre-planned basis
- Responsibility for statutory filings of VAT returns and Plastic Packaging Tax returns
- Production of ad-hoc management reports and quarterly financial board pack
Skill/Experience
- CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Demonstrable and proven track record of sustained employment in a similar role
- An exceptionally high degree of numeracy and attention to detail.
- Experienced and confident using SAGE.
- A good communicator, skilled at getting information from a range of sources and departments.
- Excellent time management skills and strong analytical skills.
- Outstanding understanding of GAAP rules and regulations.
- Thrives working both independently (a self-starter) and collaboratively.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise a workload.
- Polite and professional phone manner. Possess flexibility and ability to effectively perform multiple functions at a time.
- Ability to react positively to tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Maintain and develop positive business relationships with both internal and external customers.
