Interim Finance Manager. Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA Audit Lead (Top 4), Stevenage, £500 per day

We are pleased to be working with a well-respected Utility business in Hertfordshire. Our client is keen to secure a Qualified Accountant: Ideally ACA, with Audit background. To join their team on interim basis for 6 – 9 months.

Having recently acquired a new £200m+ business, a new opportunity has arisen to support the financial control team with the annual audit and monthly reporting of the existing businesses (In addition, there may be the need to support on elements of the financial integration of the newly acquired businesses from time to time.       

Required: 

  • Interim Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller who has experience of delivering Audits to Big 4 level auditors. 
  • Technically capable professional able to articulate accounting principals and treatments clearly and justify them to auditors. Able to write effective accounting papers.  
  • Able to own audit queries, effectively investigating and addressing them so the Auditors are comfortable. 
  • Vital to be hands on and to get into the detail, self starter
  • Has a track record of quickly building strong relationships across business including with Finance and Commercial teams. 
  • Experience of Oracle desirable and ability to quickly learn systems.   
  • Ideally with infrastructure / construction industry experience or similar given revenue recognition requirements.  
  • Support on other ad-hoc and monthly management reporting and finance activities.
  • Looking for people experienced in Oracle or Solid exposure to other large ERP Systems
