My client are an independent wealth planning firm with offices near Bishops Stortford. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Sussex, Kent and London. In their current setup they manage the affairs of 300 households with assets ranging from £250k - £8m. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections, and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes.
The Managing Director is creating 2 brand new roles for experienced Financial Planners who will manage c.£35m AUM each. This is a purely servicing role which will free up the time of another adviser who is going to focus on generating new business. These roles will suit a candidate with a background in an independent wealth planning firm, however, my client will consider someone with a restricted advice background. Most of the funds under management are held on Quilter, Transact, AJ Bell and others.
If you have knowledge of Intelligent Office, Cashcal or FE Analytics this would be helpful. You will receive full admin and paraplanning support throughout your role so you can focus exclusively on dealing with clients.
- Salary: £70k - £100k (negotiable) + bonuses
