An independent wealth planning company that has offices close to Bishops Stortford is looking for a Financial Planner to join their team. They look after HNW retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners in Sussex, Kent, and London, they provide comprehensive financial assistance. They currently oversee the affairs of 300 clients with assets between £250,000 and £8 million. The advisors offer advice on retirement planning, investments, pensions, cash flow modelling, tax planning, protections, and a few obscure plans like VCT and EIS plans. They have a long-standing relationship with a law firm that refers clients to them; the advisers are not singled out since they really believe that providing the finest service to clients is more important than accumulating AUM.

The company has received multiple accolades, is actively involved in neighbourhood events, and supports a wide range of worthy organisations. They prioritise providing outstanding customer service, which has led to a high retention rate; some of their relationships date back more than ten years. An experienced group of pooled administrators and outsourced paraplanning make up the support staff. The Managing Director is establishing a new position for a seasoned financial planner to oversee about £35 million in assets under management (150 current clients). This is a service-only position that will free up another adviser's time so they can concentrate on bringing in new business. A candidate with experience working for an independent wealth planning business would be ideal for this position.

You will be Chartered or have hopes to become a chartered professional. My customer will, however, take into account someone with limited experience giving counsel. You will receive specialised assistance with paraplanning and administration. Quilter, Transact, AJ Bell, and others own the majority of the assets under management. This might be beneficial if you are familiar with Cashcal, FE Analytics, or Intelligent Office.
