Financial Divisions are delighted to be supporting an established, tech savvy Wealth Management firm in their search for a Junior Paraplanner.

As the Junior Paraplanner you will provide financial planning support to advisers in a successful team, assisting them in delivering an outstanding holistic financial planning service to new and existing clients.

For this position, working towards a Diploma-level qualification with at least 18 months experience in a Junior paraplanning role or you will be Diploma-qualified. You will need to understand the principles of asset allocation and portfolio construction, have excellent knowledge of investment, life and pensions products and current legislation, have knowledge of Income Tax, CGT, IHT, Trusts and both DC and DB pension transfers and understand the importance and benefits of lifetime cashflow modelling.

The Role - Junior Paraplanner

You will be producing comprehensive and clear suitability letters for clients, gathering and analysing comprehensive, detailed information on clients from the advisers, researching and interpreting this information as required under the supervision of the team’s senior Technical Consultant. You will prepare client meetings and attend meetings where requested by the adviser, taking detailed written notes and following up on any technical points after any meetings attended and you will also prepare lifetime cashflow models.

I am looking for someone to be a resourceful and creative problem solver, capable of embracing the role quickly and progressing to working largely unsupervised.
