This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and operations, providing critical insights and support to drive our business forward.

Role

As a Business Controller, you will act as a trusted financial partner to Project and Line Managers, ensuring robust financial planning, accurate forecasting, and efficient expenditure management. You will play a key role in steering our financial strategy and ensuring compliance with industry standards, all while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial planning and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

Collaborate with Project and Line Managers by coordinating monthly financial project reviews and offering insights for informed decision-making.

Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring they align with approved budgets.

Assess project revenue based on Percentage of Cost (POC) and Time & Materials (T&M) principles.

Reconcile monthly project work-in-progress, manage financial records, and prepare reports for project and contract status reviews.

Prepare and present detailed financial reports to local and Group senior management.


Required Experience

Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.

Proven experience in financial management and controlling.

Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required Skills

Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.

Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Knowledge of SAP, especially SAP S4/Hana, is an advantage.

Required Education

Degree in Finance or related subject
